2. Firdstly, you don't need an unattended password on the Mac unless you are going to control it from the Acer. It sounds to me like you are stuck in the installation. Are you sure you downloaded the full version of TeamViewer on the Mac? Id restart the Mac, redownload the full TV version.

Therefore TeamViewer remains somehow 'stuck' and won't connect even after the network connection becomes available. But it's for the TeamViewer support to determine. It's a bit disappointing, as I just purchased TeamViewer's new subscription model.
